DescriptionAn elongated octagon shaped games box made of gilt-decorated lacquerware. The top of the box is decorated with a central landscape scene. In the foreground is a grouping of figures, and what appears to be a processional from a large architectural structure in the proper left-foreground. Additional architectural elements are shown on the proper-right side in linear perspective and fade into the distant landscape. A dense border of wavy dragons extend the picture plane. The edge of the box top is decorated with a smaller border of dense floarl and landscape scenes.
