DescriptionThis vertically-oriented paper collage weaves together thin strips of paper cut from prints in order to create an abstracted map of the Indian capital city of Delhi. The prints used to create the work are monochromatic woodblock prints of Delhi maps created by the artist. The artist uses black ink on plain paper in her prints. The overall effect of the composition and technique is the creation of a highly textured and abstract image that reveals and conceals itself to the viewer.Exhibition HistoryZarina, Luhring Augustine Gallery, New York, October 27–December 22,
