DescriptionA rectangular brooch composed of two geometric planes. The back plane is a larger asymmetrical geometric shape composed of half of a hexagon and a quadrilateral polygon with a concave hexagonal area composed of a melted pool threaded rods and hexagonal nuts. The top plane is a smaller asymmetrical geometric shape, bent into a V-shape. One side is half of a hexagon with two triangles sitting on one side of the fold. The other side is a quadrilateral polygon with three small threaded rods topped with hexagonal nuts protruding through the surface, onto the back plane.ProvenanceMarjorie Schick (1941 2017), Pittsburg, KS;
