DescriptionOval image of man and woman wearing ornamental hats and long garments, which cover their hands and fall to their feet. The woman's dress is made from a variety of patterned fabrics and her hat has small tassels which fall across her face. The man's garment is mostly plain with a sash across his chest and his hat extends upward with a feather at the top. They stand on a rug next to one another and look directly at the viewer with neutral expressions.Provenance
