A scholar, baring his chest and touching the water with his fingers, enjoys the cool summer breeze. Many soft shapes of blue suggest a breezy day at a lake. This charming picture is a luxurious tapestry, although it looks like a painting. The figure and landscape were woven from luminous silk threads with enormous care and skill.
