DescriptionPortrait of two women standing towards one another and looking out at the viewer. They are similarly dressed in dark long-sleeved dresses with white lace collars and full skirts. Their hair, parted in the middle and pinned up in the back, extends over their ears in thick rolls. This quarter plate daguerreotype is housed in a brass mat inside of an unadorned leather case with a detached lid and a burgundy velvet liner.ProvenanceWith the Hall Family Foundation, Kansas City, MO by 2017;
