This brooch seems to come alive when light plays across its surface. German jeweler Thanh Truc- Nguyen strives to create works which evoke optical illusions when worn. Her goal is to give the sense that the surface of the jewelry is moving. She achieves the illusion in this piece by using different layers of powder-coated steel and oxidized silver.
