DescriptionLeft panel (a): thin layer of yellow wash. Patterns in color and texture are created through overlays of paint which result in variations of the yellow wash and raised areas. The two distinguishable patterns include horizontal bands reaching across the canvas and curvilinear bands which echo the arc shape at irregular intervals across the canvas.Right panel (b): divided into two sections with alternating backgrounds of black and white. A stroke of the reverse color appears in each section, leaving the brush stroke traces of an industrial-sized brush.
