This sculpture of a four-armed form of the god Shiva stands in a graceful triple-bend posture, clasping a trident, a common attribute held by Shiva images in North India. His upper two hands hold a lotus flower and a tree-headed serpent. His mount, the bull Nandi, and a fly whisk attendant appear behind him.
