DescriptionBark fiber woven simply with single-strand warp and woof alternation into four panesl, two of which comprise one sleeve each and two of which form the body panels with a central posterior seam. The back shoulder, lapes, skirt, and cuff decorated with traditional Ainu geometric motifs in appliquéd black cotton strips, which are further embellished by cusped ovoid tracery in medium blue cotton chain stitching.
