[1] According to Nii Quarcoopome, Curator, documentation of a conversation with the donor, NAMA curatorial files, Richard Fulton acquired this mask in 1966 on the advice of Bill Siegmann, former Curator of African Art, Brooklyn Museum, while they were both working in Liberia.
