DescriptionHand-colored studio portrait of a seated woman with arms crossed in her lap and holding a small white flower, her head is turned slightly to the left. She wears a dark off the shoulder gown with a shawl which is elaborately colored. This three-quarter plate daguerreotype is housed in a brass mat inside of an unadorned pebbled leather case with a burgundy velvet liner.
