DescriptionImage of a woman and child in an outdoor setting. The child is seated on a small chair and is shading her eyes from the sun with both hands. The woman is squinting as she wraps her arm around the child. She holds a straw hat with long ribbons in one hand. In the background there is a tree and a fence. This sixth plate daguerreotype is housed in a period passe-partout style mat in gold and dark brown with a round brass hanging hook at top.
