[1] These jars are no. 77 on a list of objects Sickman insured with the Kansas City Fire and Marine Insurance Company with a Fine Arts Rider dated December 1, 1952. Nelson-Atkins Archives, MSS001 Laurence Sickman Papers, box 7, folder 10, Barclays Bank 1943-81. The object description indicates they were "excavated at Chu Lu-hsien," but this is not confirmed.
