DescriptionThis metal bell is in the shape of a human head. Bulging eyes, a wide nose, stylized ears, and thick, closed lips characterize the face. A crown-shaped form surmounts the head. Raised scarification covers the forehead, cheeks, and chin. A necklace and decorative forms cover the front of the flaring portion of the bell.Provenance
