DescriptionThe ashtray has a white ground over which is depicted in brown, the image of a man, standing with his back turned to the viewer. At the lower edge of the image, near the man's feet, crushed cigarette butts, represented at actual size are also present. Around the rim of the ashtray is a border painted in silver metallic. The ashtray has two recessed areas in this border to hold cigarettes, one at the "top" edge, and another at the "bottom" edge.Copyright© Vik Muniz / Licensed by VAGA, New York, NY
