DescriptionIn front of his cave sits Saint Ajita, dressed in his monk's robe. He is seated on a dais covered with textiles. His right hand performs a warning gesture. His left is holding a yak tail staff. In front and below him is a ribboned vessel; it is filled with offerings which include a musical instrument and a conch. The saint, as the sole figure in this painting, is placed in a setting of mountains and clouds above and below his cave.
