DescriptionImage of young boy (Mr. Nelson) seated and wearing bow tie with jacket. This sixth plate partially cased daguerreotype is housed in a brass mat in the tray of a leather covered case. The case has been modified with nails and string added to the back so that it can function as frame.Provenance
