NOTES:

[1] Documentation of this object's vendor is convoluted in purchase records. According to a purchase document in the Nelson-Atkins Registration file, the vendor is identified as Yung Ku Chai, Ch'ien Men Wei, Peiping. However, Sickman's financial statement for the purchase, as well as a memorandum dated August 23, 1933, names Li Tsin Chiu, Hatamen Ta Chieh, Peiping, as the person from whom the object was purchased. Sickman associates this name elsewhere with the North China Trading Company.
