DescriptionIn this disc, the raised design encircling the central opening is interpreted as the rice pattern. The stylized animals which loop together represent kuei dragons, with four rams heads in low relief at the four symbolic directions of the circle. The white nephrite is of even color and translucent. The border encircling the rice pattern is carefully carved in a rope pattern. A narrow, single uncarved border encircles the whole disc.
