DescriptionThe object is a polychrome, hollow, dry lacquer figure of a Bodhisattva. The textile support material can be seen on the interior surfaces. The robe is painted red and green, the hands are gilt, and the face and hair are black.ProvenancePeiping (modern-day Beijing) art market, by June 8, 1933 [1];
