Ernestine K. Miller (née Kimmel, 1914–1971), Kansas City, MO, by 1971 [1];
Her bequest to The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Kansas City, MO, 1971.
[1] Based on probate records in the curatorial file, this sculpture was personal property owned by Mrs. Miller before her 1970 marriage to Paul Latshaw Miller. Mrs. Miller was previously married to Alonzo H. Gentry (1886-1967), an architect who designed several Kansas City landmark buildings, including Municipal Auditorium and the Harry S. Truman Presidential Library. Aside from trips to Cuba, Mr. and Mrs. Gentry did not appear to travel outside of the United States.
