DescriptionTruncated conical form with wide flat handle having flaring tail, pierced entwined double-dolphin thumbpiece. Handle marked in punchwork: *I S* with scrollwork (see card). Triangular upper section where handle joins body hollow and pierced with trefoil at top, five graduated circles below. Decorated with engraved chinoiserie: body and cover chased with palm trees and birds. Base decorated with punched bead work. Cover extends beyond body and is slightly domical. Four marks on bottom.
