Osa reflects on the moment that inspired this West Bottoms print three decades ago:
"It's mid-morning, and workers from the businesses that lined Eighth Street have come out for coffee and snacks. My vantage point was far to the left to take advantage of the building across the street with its snow-covered awning and to emphasize the dramatic single-point perspective these views created. The old Sunshine Biscuit Factory building where I stood and several buildings across the street were destroyed in a massive fire in July 1998."
