DescriptionStanding figure is modelled with a cowl covering the head and shoulders. The figure stands gracefully on the "pao-shan hai shui" (waves and rocks). It wears a jewelled pectoral, and the ears are pendant. A high top knot is held by a ruyi hair ornament, and the head is slightly turned in a benevolent attitude. The figure stands with left hand resting over the right hand, which is in the mudra of "turning of the wheel". The glaze is a warm ivory without crackle.
