DescriptionA carved ivory bowl with inverted lip. A carved frieze running around the outside shows figures in a rock and tree garden. The scene depicts Chung K'uei the Demon Queller, Laotzu and his ox, and a Confucian scholar accompanied by a deer and servant boy.
