DescriptionRound, six-lobed bowl with pinched, lotiform rim and short, splayed foot. The white porcelain body is decorated with overglaze Kakiemon enamels painted in blue, blue-green, clear yellow, aubergine with black, and iron-red, with a design of two phoenix whose waving tails trail around the cavetto. In the center of the bowl, a stylized five-petalled motif in iron-red. The back of the rim is decorated with seven paulownia clusters arranged in a "random" design.
