[1] A photograph of this object is included in the 1939-1940 Inventory Book for the Deutsches Archäologisches Institut - Rome's photo archive as photo no. 894 and negative no. 39.574. The disk is recorded as being on the Roman art market at the time, having come from Bulgaria. A copy of the photograph and the inventory book are in the Nelson-Atkins curatorial files.
